age of my .22

I recently bought a used .22 from a dealer in Kerrville, Tx. The barrel reads

Savage Arms
REVELATION Westfield, Mass. U.S.A.
Cal. 22 Long Rifle

and to the right of that
MODEL 135
Series A

It has a light colored wood, cut checkering on the grip and stock, and open sights. I am wondering what year this gun could have been manufactured, or if there is a place that I can enter the serial number to find the desired information. It's a great .22 for plinking and varmint hunting and I'd just like to know a little bit about it when I pass it on to my future son.
